ACO Support
A key part of our mission is to provide support to other provider-owned organizations that desire to lead initiatives to improve the delivery of care in their market. One example of these initiatives is the development of Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). The expertise and technology Apex has developed over the years, in combination with our appreciation of provider-led initiatives, position us to provide the support needed to establish and administer effective ACOs.

ACO Experience
Apex has extensive experience administering ACO support for clients. The following list represents a sample of provider-sponsored initiatives supported by Apex:
- A large, tertiary referral and teaching center in New England with more than 750 physicians managing an 11,000 member Commercial population
- A major teaching program in Florida that includes four hospitals and more than 900 physicians managing a 53,000 member Medicaid population
- One of the largest regional healthcare systems located in the southeastern United States that includes 13 hospitals and 2,000 physicians managing a 14,000 member Commercial population
- One of the largest integrated delivery systems in Ohio with six hospitals and nearly 500 physicians managing a 9,000 member Medicare Advantage population
